Free! or very cheap carpet.

We are on the look out for Primer Felt GT carpet so we can use it on Tuesday nights.
We need a minimum of 4 lenghts: 2m wide x 13 m long.
Primer Felt is the best you can get so this is what we really only want to get.
If anyone comes accross any please let one of the venue organisers know, many thanks.

Have been browsing for carpet but seems to be none avaliable at the moment as soon as we get some will let you all know, just think we will be the only club in london this side of the river to have carpet happy daze

Hopefully we will pick up a few more drivers from clubs like Roneo and Brentwood I know there are a few drivers who live nearer to NRCCV than Southend so they may come to us instead of them especially as we will be having 3 5 minute qualifying races and finals for all. We will have to limit numbers to 24 maximum though which will be 6 cars per race and 4 heats this is due to pitting space and the time it will take to put the carpet out and pack away.
This I think is the way forwards and the only way that the Venue will start to make a profit. Which will mean everyone who has layed out money initially can be paid back. Once this has been done we can then look at getting transponders and new track markings etc.

whats the price of new carpet.length of a roll

New Prima GT carpet is £250.00 per roll, plus £10.00 delivery charge per roll, the roll length is 30m x 2m so we would need 2 rolls, then cut them in half so we would have 4 x 15m rolls. I have already looked into who sells Prima GT carpet before we opened NRCCV and there is only one company who sells it in this country.

Still fishing around for carpet going to woodson park friday to see if they have any spare if not it looks like paying out for new stuff
