If you are looking for the bestv tyres then it has to be the RP ones they are the best but wear the quickest.
Schumacher tyres are very good and also last longer.
RP's and take off are the same company but are very good in their own wrights.

The numbers on all on road tyres relates to how much grip they have.
E.g. RP24's have more grip than RP30's. You use RP24's when the temperature is low and RPŁ)'s when it is hot.
So basically the lower the number, the softer the tyre, the more grip it will generate, but beware there is a wright time to use these tyres and a wrong time.
If you use 24's when the track is to hot you will wear them out very quickly and will not have any grip. If you use 30's when it is cold you will have no grip.
I'm affraid its all trial and error, this is why a lot of top drivers do testing with tyres.
