now a days both t1fk04 and max racing mx-707r getting their popularity back , lots of people start to talk about them...some people still keep their kits for the future plans...well balanced car even helps to cover wrong setups...
but there r 2 things in my mind about these twin brothers :motor heath sink and electric lay down...is there enough space ?
are they real twin brothers or any of them have an advantage over the other one?
cheers

There are a lot of simarlarities between the two cars, both are easy to work on in their own ways the Max is probally the easiest car to work on i've ever had (i've had quite a few).
In regards to hidding set up problems I dont think it hides problems just stops you from having problems so you can get on with the important part of enjoying your racing and winning races.
At first people thought it was just a rip-off of a Xray but the car has a few improvments over the Xray and looks better to. E.g. you can get the diff out in about a minute, the Xray takes a lot longer. The Xray looks a bit bland, the max has nice blue annodised parts.
Theres plenty of room for most ESC's and recivers on the market as most are all the same size nowaday's. But you would have enough room for any budget ESC or reciver.
As for the motor heat sink in basic kit form the bulkhead that the motor is screwed to is a big chunk of alloy so it absorbs alot of the heat from the motor. We have been using a 3Racing motor heat sink on or cars which fits perfectly between the 2 bulkheads this then jopins the 2 together making cooling twice as good. You can also use the much more endbell fan which goes directly onto the end bell via fan posts. So its probally the one of the best cars around for heat disipation.
Anyway its been a good year for the MX707R and hopefully the next will be just as good. Im competing in the 19turn Nationals again this year and hopfully with what we have learned over the winter the car should get into the odd top final fingers crossed.
We will also be doing a few STCC meets just to keep the thumbs in tune.
Look out for our progress on the forum over the next season to see how many expensive cars the Max beats. until next time.

C U TRACKSIDE.
