| GORESBROOK MODEL CAR CLUB
Opens on 12th September and we will be racing every Wednesday night.
Classes raced:
Touring cars, Mardaves and 12th scale.
Race entry fee:£5.00
Tyres:
Foam, Slick Rubber and Carpet Dragons.
Cells:
Any Nimh cells. No Lipo's.
Motors:
Any BRCA legal 27 turn stock, CO27 and X-stock.
Track information:
Carpet track with rope and plastic track markings.
The track is 18m long x 12m wide.
Tables and chairs provided.
12 volt batteries must be in a spill proof container. (No 240v power available, Hall rules).
Racing procedure:
3 heats and 1 final for all.
Please marshall how you would like to be marshalled.
(No T-Boning).
Doors open at 6.30pm racing starts at 7.45pm.
Racing finishes at approx. 10.15pm.
F.T.Q. Models are at the track for all your racing needs and also hold a raffle for the benifit of the club with R/C prizes.

| As the old saying goes "It's not what you know, it's who you know" and over the 20+ years of racing I know a lot of people thankfully, what a great sport to be in.
Here's to a great new club, one of, if not the biggest track in the area, and it will possibly be the friendliest if nothing else, with a great team putting in a lot of time and effort, thanks to you all. | |

| After some driving about on Friday between Brentwood and Wodson Park, Paul (our very own Ray Kinsella, build it and they will come) and me come have got a dicount for both clubs when visiting each other you dont have to pay the non-members £1 fee.
We are also awaiting news of a transponder system that may be available.
Other news is 2 other clubs are joining together due to falling numbers of drivers good luck to them.
We only have 2 more races left at Flanders so make the most of the polished stuff, you'll miss it when its gone, I will.
Thanks again for all the pre organising work for the new venue, I'm sure its going to be a great success with many people already showing an interest, bring it on. | |
