| The EP cells are more stable but the intellect cells have more punch and are more for the serious racer looking for the edge over the rest | |

| I think we should all go back to 1200 mah sc cells, like in the good old days. We used to have trouble lasting 5 mins with them though with a 20 double mod motor. | |

| did you check for sale section Mark has some good cell offers... Also sometimes Old cells are suits beginners like Me and you better than new powerfull cells believe me... I just build my ib4200 unmatched WC cells charge them 5A first charge they takes around 4800mAh but finished cool 34-38 C... 2 sets accepted same amount and match quality 91 and 94% amazing performance... with matched gp4300s I didn't see any benefit of matching to be honest... | |

| yes Matt If you want but a bit long story for me...ICC really gives you much more than you want you can even charge 2 packs at the same time discharge tray ...motor run-in ...And you may not believe that Spintec guys listen their customers via rctech forums and they make the wanted upgrades to the ICC every software update... but it is very expensive charger | |

| Unmatched IB 4200WC are £34.99 per pack and have more than enough power and punch for club racing and would be fine for the bigger meetings as well. Matched ones are really only for the more serious racers looking for that little bit more. There are many top drivers that don't use matched cells and still make top finals at meetings such as CW4 last year, Nathan was using Schumacher XVS unmatched and was always in the top 5 in the stock class. Just goes to show that car set up and perfect lines are a lot more important than what cells you are using. | |

 | Subject: Cell matching Tue Jul 03, 2007 3:45 pm | |
| If you mean that if you had 3 packs of cells and one took 4000 mah once charged and the others were 3750mah and 3500 mah then the pack with 4000 mah would have more run time but not nessarcerliy the most punch. To match cells yourself, you can individually match cells but would need quite a few to get good packs, thats why the big companies buy so many cells in trays and match best to "worst" and then produce 3 different price and quality levels E.g. £35 un-matched £45 race matched and £60 Team mactched. You get what you pay for. But as I said before £60 cells are more for National drivers with money to burn, it also gives you somthing less to worry about i.e. are they best cells I could have brought. | |
