Wat do you do if your charger does not run brushes in and you want to run them in ????? Question Question

You should run motors with new brushes in at about 4 volts for 1 minute, thats normally enough. If you dont have a charger that does this then use your cells. Just put the positive batt connector on the motor and in your case put the negative link wire from your 4th cell on the motor and hold it on for 1 min, this will give you 4.8 volts which is fine.

hi matt
I thought you have much more CTX charger...isn't that has a motor run in feature???
I don't do motor run in anyway but I have question about brushes If the brushes has tidy cracked edge do we have to change that brush also do you guys using brush serration tool (sorry 4 misspelling) what is that tool for?

The brush serrating tools basically re-cut the serration into the brush. If you are looking to get one of these try and get hold of the Trinity one, its quite expensive but gives a finer cut compaired to many others.
If you have a small piece missing off of your brush it should be ok and not need relpacing. Just make sure you put a 45 degree angle on all of your brushes with a file, this reduces arching, I do it all the time.
