W.L.R.C. BEGINNERS MEETING BANK HOLIDAY MONDAY 9TH APRIL.

The next WLRC meeting is a beginners meeting on Bank Holiday Monday, April 9th. All genuine beginners can come and experience a days racing at WLRC, a premier electric touring car venue, free of charge. At the same time WLRC club members are invited to attend a bonus meeting.

Gates will open at 7:30 and all drivers must report to booking in by 8:45 at the latest.

This would be an ideal meeting to attend if you have never raced outdoors as you would be competing against begginers of various abilities, and you dont have to pay anything to race, yes it's completly FREE! So if your not up to anything monday get yourself along to one of the countries best tracks, good luck!

P.S. I wont be there, im off to sunny devon fingers crossed.

me and Al checked it out today had a fantastic day wow what a track. First time we have been outdoors infact it was the first time we had been on any surface other than roneo's pw thoughly enjoyed it will be back for more during the summer maybe try out southend.

there was three heats and two finals there was three finals in the bgeiners class A to C we both made the 'A' final Al was 2nd in the grid i was 5th

first leg was pretty straight forward al was 2nd on the grid blasted through to the front from the start and held on to the win i came from 5th to grab second

Al won with 16 / 300.63
i came second with a 16 / 310.60

2nd leg
Wasnt as clean as the first close racing got a little too close if you know what i mean al shot of in front as before i missed the first corner pile up and sat in second then Al had a banging session with another racer and his battery fell out he came back on but had lost serious ground, i had a slight glitch on a corner and let in what seemed like the whole feild . i climed back up to third then let another threw just at the end and came forth.

overall i came 2nd in the 'A' Beginners (Stock) Al 5th heres the overall table

Sounds like you both had a very good first on-road meeting, both in tha A final is not a bad start. I'm glad you both enjoyed it, probally the best track to race on if you have'nt raced outdoors before it's quite forgiving. Shame about Al's battery exit, sounds like he would have won the A if they stayed in the car, o well a lesson learnt the hard way is always remembered. Congrats to both

Yeah was a decent day, Wish i just re charged the cells i used in leg 1 tho as none of my others were upto it and so had to fight for every position was very annoying.

Dont no what to do probably just stick to indoors for now dont want to spend anymore on cells for out doors. at least my shell looked good tho But i got to cut it too fit the mini pins in now

Its amazing what you can do wuth 3 colours. Looks realy good, nice design and stickers.

Not bad fo a first time out doors

Hark at the expert, you havent done bad either Billy after 2 outdoor races. Scott E will have your stock motor and tyre warmers tonight. You forgot to get new diff plates yesterday and I dont know if you want the more powerfull £8.99 brushes? I know they are a lot of money but top drivers use them for 3-4 race meetings so compair that to 2 x stock brushes for 1 meeting @ £2.99 a pair and they are actually better value for money.
