| N.R.C.C.V. RACE RESULTS Numbers were down a bit to the usual but we had a good night's racing all the same with a different kind of track design this time. There was a choice of two different routes you could take to get to the second corner before the straight. One was long and one was short but a bit more technical, but both took the same amount of time to get through. Things are getting very consistant reguarding qualifying and finals with most drivers ending up on the same number in the final that they qualiyfied on. B Final Dani was on a stormer after fiiting new mini's for the final determined to improve on her qualifing time, which she did and would have improved by a further 2 laps if she had'nt have tryed to go through the hose pipes twice, a leason learnt there.
- CAR 1. DANI YOUNG 22 306.821
- CAR 2. RICHARD POWELL 19 310.006
- CAR 3. MATT MEAD 18 317.086
A Final. After an unusual start to the A Scotty came out in front and left myself and Billy for dust and went on to win his first NRCCV A final fair and square (even if I did have the wrong cells in, winge, winge) CONGRATULATIONS!
- CAR 2 SCOTT EVERITT 28 306.671
- CAR 1 MARK YOUNG 27 309.084
- CAR 3 BILLY MICHAEL 26 3011.037
Looking forwards to the next meeting, who knows we maight have carpet by then wooopiiiieeee!!!!! Until the next time: C U TRACKSIDE. | |

 | Subject: FOAMS OR RUBBER? Thu Jul 26, 2007 7:14 pm | |
| Well some one had to ask. Foams are probally grippier than rubber but do chunk, that's the price you pay for higher conering speeds and more accelleration you decide.

| NRCCV RACE RESULTS There was some very close racing last night and some surprising results. Thanks to all that helped in remarking the track edging, this should make life a lot easyier in the future. Dani won first place in the raffel and picked up a new body shell that she will probally save for CW5 as she has just had a new one sprayed. Rich picked up a set of tyres, which at his current pace should help him to move further up the A final. I must apolagise for the computer problem last night, I think we should invest in the program we had at first which costs £65 when we move. It can be upgraded to transponders more easyily than the one we have at the moment, it's also the same as the BRCA National and WLRC program and works much better. Well here's the results we are all waitign for: B Final: 1. Ali Can...........24 Laps 2. Dani Young.....24 Laps Imp. 3. Matt Mead.......0 Laps D.N.S. A Final: 1. Mark Young....32 Laps Imp. 2. Chris Smith.....29 Laps 3. Richard Powell..24 Laps 4. Bill Michael.......15 Laps DNF. Well it looks like after some good qualyfiying consitancy and good car preperation paid off, as it always does. The Scythe seems to be going from strength to strength, cant wait for Friday night were we are all off to Woodson park home off HRCC aka Rug Racers, if you can make it see you there. Until next time: C U Trackside | |

| Certainly is a very strong car from what i've seen so far, nothings broke. The parts are very strong as most of the parts are hpi which are carbon injected. Being mostley hpi parts they are available from Mirage and Much More. But the other parts are allways in stock and are reasonabally priced. | |

| After an interseting nights racing on a track that was extremly slippery we had some surpprising results. At last we have now found that Matt is a good driver with someone else's car other than his own. That has today been sorted out so we should see some good results from him in the near future. F.T.Q. RESULTS:1. Mark Young 2. Richard Powell 3. Chris Smith 4. Dani Young 5. Ali Can 6. Matt Mead B Final: 1. Ali Can...............21 Laps 5m 00.782 F.L 10.575 AV.L. 14.323 2. Dani Young.........21 Laps 5m 08.203 F.L 12.418 AV.L. 14.676 3. Matt Mead...........3 Laps 4m 36.347 F.L. 23.17 AV.L. 92.082 A Final: 1. Mark Young.........27 Laps 5m 04.438 F.L. 10.405 AV.L. 11.275 2. Richard Powell......25 Laps 5m 01.764 F.L. 10.575 AV.L. 12.071 3. Chris Smith..........23 Laps 5m 11.318 F.L. 11.206 AV.L. 13.536 A great nights racing with an excellent result for Rich, well done mate the practice is paying off at last. Thanks for the advice to. Until next time: To finish first, first you must finish.
